I’m Nikita Chudakov. I live in Tel Aviv, Israel, where I'm creating the internet's supergraph.
Growing up in Moscow, I had an early interest in computers. I loved the way you could use them to create new things and explore fascinating worlds. As a child, I was also fascinated by aircraft and dreamed of becoming a pilot one day.
In third grade, my school introduced computer classes, which gave me my first opportunity to start coding with QBasic. After mastering this language for the level that is possible for a third grader, I continued learning others such as Turbo Pascal and later PHP.
During my high school years, I became increasingly passionate about coding and dived into learning Java. I knew that this language was one of the best for software engineering, so I spent all my free time mastering it and working on various projects.
By the time I got to the second year of university I already had a job as a java software engineer. After university, I worked for some of the biggest tech companies in Moscow such as Mail.ru and Vkontakte. During this period, I gained valuable experience and knowledge which allowed me to become a Lead Software Engineer and lead teams of 10+ FTE.
I decided to use my experience and knowledge to start my own high-tech company. Now, I am the founder of this edge-tech startup, and I still use Java for my day-to-day work.
Looking back, it's amazing how far I have come from those early days of coding with QBasic. Coding has become a way of life for me, and I'm grateful for all the opportunities it has given me.
